Then, we grouped leaves by different characteristics!
(The man in the purple shirt is Mr. Travis and he will be with us on Tuesdays. He is absolutely fabulous with the kids and my boys are glad to have another man in the room!)
Playing with our toys outside:
Mr. Travis taking us for rides. The kids' faces are priceless!
Can you walk the balance beam?
We learned about clouds today. There are four kinds we learned about: cirrus, cumulus, stratus, and cumulonimbus. We have motions for each!
The wispy clouds are "serious" (since it sounds like Cirrus) so we say it with a serious face and voice.
Cumulus clouds are happy because they get to be so fluffy! We say it with a happy voice, happy face, and make the shape with our hands.
Stratus clouds are our low and straight clouds. We say this with a straight face and make the cloud with our hand.
Then we have our cumulonimbus cloud: the angry cloud. Guess what kind of face we make for it!
Let's draw our clouds! We went outside to see what kinds of clouds were out there. We only saw stratus ones!
Station time:
Today, EVERYONE SIGNED THEIR NAME ON THE LINE FOR THE SIGN UP SHEET!! AHHHHHH! So exciting!
More centers!
Someone was quite messy with her snack today ;)
And that's all for now, ladies and gentlemen! Enjoy your HUMP DAY!
