It's the start of a new year!

Oh, how I love the start of a new year! There are so many possibilities and opportunities for every single child in my classroom. I cannot wait to get to know each of the students I will have this year.

Hello there! My name is Brittany Dahl and I am the kindergarten teacher at the Campus School. Here is a little about me:

I was born and raised in a small fisherman community in southern Louisiana. 

The Smokey Mountains are my favorite place to vacation and I enjoy hiking.

I have a 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier named Sunny because he brings sunshine to my day. ;)

I am an avid pinner on Pinterest!

My favorite author is C.S. Lewis and I still enjoy reading the Chronicles of Narnia. (I have them all in hard back copies and read them anytime I need some rest.)

I graduated from UWA with a degree in elementary education and early childhood education.

My birthday is February 13th.

I am the youngest of three children by 9 years!

My favorite color is yellow.

When I was a child I wanted to be a zoo keeper.

I am thrilled to be teaching your child this year!

This year we will be doing lots of creative activities to really engage your little learners. Be sure to check this blog a few times a month to see what's new. Pictures, stories, events, jokes, and all sorts of things will be posted on here! It will definitely be worth your time. :)

I look forward to meeting all of you and helping your child reach his/her potential. I am on your side and on your child's side in the path for knowledge. This blog is titled "Kindly Kinders" because as we grow in knowledge in kindergarten, we will also grow in love. Your child is the only one of his/her kind and that makes him/her extraordinary!
