We are learning more about fall in science. We learned that all of the seasons are connected! Summer is really hot, fall cools us down to prepare for winter, winter is really cold, and spring helps us prepare for summer! We are going to go more in depth into this concept and how nature is affected in each season. We went outside, noticed it was chillier, and then drew and wrote about it in our journals.

We had fun in free centers. In the morning, children get to choose what they want to do for their center time. While they are at centers, I call them individually to my table and we work on different math and reading skills.

Dr. Minear's class came to visit during structured center time. This is where I have four stations open and the students rotate to each activity. Dr. Minear's class gave us word books that we are very excited about.
Then Dr. Pendergrass's class came and played a math game with us:
We are adding plus on. I show them how to do one and then I let them go! I tell them the problem and they write it out and then solve it using whatever strategy they like.
We had dance today!
The rest of us made shoes in library!
Then it was back to structured center time where we have four stations open with activities planned:
