It took two nap periods to load all of these pictures! This spreads over the last few days:

We've been doing lots of painting. We have letter and number books the children paint in every day. There are also pictures of self portrait making in this set of pictures:

This is the cotton processing I told you of in an earlier post. The children guessed there were either M&Ms, seeds, or rocks inside the raw cotton.

Our barnyard trip! Get ready for a bunch of pictures!

We are here!

Hay ride to get our pumpkins:

Check out this old truck:

Getting our pumpkins:

Waiting for our next activity:

For some reason this llama seemed terrifying to me. I think he looked like he was planning on spitting.

We were able to go on a boat ride and feed the cows and ponies:

Washing our hands:

Pony rides are next:

Then we were able to bottle feed a lamb:

And feed the rest of the animals:

We were able to hold and pet baby animals:

Tacky Wednesday:

More painting!

I went to AMSTI training on Thursday and Friday but I was able to get out early on Friday to get a few pictures of the fall festival. Sadly I do not have many but I do love the ones I do have.

Spanish time:
Short break for a tornado drill:
Back to Spanish! Big or small?

Each child picked out a series of number activity cards to play with me.
While Ms. LaPortia did STAR with each child and read a book with them.
And Mr. Gary and Mr. Beaumon painted our feet to make Frankenstein!

Play time:

Children have started to type on the computer. They are mostly typing their names and numbers.

Look at our huge tower!

We did an activity together. I asked the kids with group on their paper had more. They all said the second one. Once we counted it out we saw they were the same! That led to lots of great discussions on why we thought they were different and how we know they are the same.

Then we made our own example of the same thing!

That's it for now! Have a wonderful and safe Halloween! I will be posting our Halloween pictures soon! :)
